We have 30 tenured and tenure track academic faculty members in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering involved in all aspects of materials research. Our faculty frequently collaborate with investigators in other departments, Penn State colleges, and other institutions as they seek scientific advances in research that will benefit the citizens of the Commonwealth and beyond.
